Clothes

I have enough clothes. I really don't need more...

This is what I think every time I walk into a clothes store. Maybe twenty-five percent of the time I actually buy something in the store, but most of the time I just walk out frustrated with either the range, the price, the fit or the fact that I didn't want any new clothes in the first place. You see I have way too many already. They used to overflow my closets/drawers/clothes baskets. I now live in an apartment with NINE closets just for me... so you see the potential there for issues.

I still own clothes that no longer fit my fully grown body (keeping clothes from when I was 16? That's rather optimistic of me), so it's really time for a huck out. Everything that plainly doesn't fit, things that are too tight, or swimming on me, items that have seen better years and are unable to be repaired (jeans that wear out, you can patch, but not likely wear outside of your own backyard again), duplicates of items (sometimes you like some styles just a little too much), or clothes that simply don't suit me. The problem with that is, I'm not sure I'll have too much left that will pass muster.

I have had too many clothes for too many years, which has resulted in them being worn to death and beyond. If I throw out all my clothes, I'll have to get a new load of clothes all at once - an expensive exercise to be sure. So to attempt to save money, get clothes that suit both my tastes and don't bankrupt me, I'll attempt to make some new stuff. I'm pretty handy right? I should totally prove that to myself.

So here goes, wardrobe replacement evolution, up there for all the world to see my failures...
